Danielle's 10k for the YWCA!
As a Board Member of the WILD Council, we foster meaningful connections and conversations through mentoring, community engagement, and dedication to diversity and inclusion. WILD stands for Women Inspiring Leadership Development and we are a network of successful business leaders who share our expertise and encouragement with young women, the community and each other. We connect with local non-profits through an annual sponsorship that supports the organization through participation and professional leadership. This year, we chose to support the YWCA and have creased a Dash & Bash Team called Running WILD!
I have committed to participating and raising funds for YWCA Dash and Bash – an event that brings together a community of passionate and diverse individuals to connect and raise funds that will change the world by supporting the YWCA Boulder County’s mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
This is a wonderful organization and I'm hoping you help me reach my goal. Thank you!
About the YWCA:
For over 95 years, YWCA Boulder County has been providing vital services to women and children and offering programs to help eliminate racism for 6,000 of our community members. With the help of hundreds of YWCA volunteers, YWCA connects with students across Boulder County to create understanding, empathy and reduce bullying through Reading to End Racism. Talented and motivated Latina high school girls have a strong support network through the Latina Achievement Support mentorship program. Children’s Alley is the only drop-in, temporary childcare center, serving 600 children each year, and offering extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays to support families in need, including families with children with special needs.
